Honest, expert advice – even when I wasn't officially their client yet!
I’ve had two experiences with Mortgage Tailoring Service, and they’ve been a total lifesaver both times.
The "Rescue Mission" (2023):
When I was buying a new build, I was using a different broker recommended by the developer. I started losing confidence in them because I wasn't sure if the mortgage was actually feasible or affordable. Even though I was too far along to switch, I reached out to Mortgage Tailoring Service for a second opinion. They stepped in with the guidance and reassurance I needed to get through it. Because they were so helpful back then, they were the only people I called when it came time to remortgage.
The Remortgage (Current):
This time I went with them from the start, and it was a night-and-day difference:
+ They handle the "heavy lifting": They chased the solicitors and managed all the paperwork, which took a massive amount of stress off my plate.
+ Plain English: They explain everything in layman’s terms. I actually understood the options I was choosing instead of just nodding along to jargon.
+ Proactive on rates: With the market being so unpredictable, they grabbed a good rate for me early to keep me safe. They even offered to go through the whole process again if interest rates dropped before we finished.
The Bottom Line:
